Poor reputation and not family friendly

2/ 5

We were visiting the area recently and stayed at another nudist club. Speaking to folks there Paradise Lakes still has a bad reputation as attracting swingers. Its also not very family friendly, banning kids after 5pm from the main common areas. Another person told us they felt rather put out not being allowed to bring their own snacks/drinks into the recreation area. If you are looking for an adults only vacation getaway then maybe this works for you, but as parents looking for a more relaxed family oriented atmosphere this is not somewhere I would consider going.

Owner Response

Hello Dan20, We are sorry you heard bad things about our resort. I do want to clarify any misunderstands or misinterpretations you were given about Paradise. We are a private clothing optional resort. We allow everyone to visit our resort and do not discriminate against lifestyle preference. That includes swingers, lgbtq, naturists, or people wanting to try "clothing free" life for the first time. We have members as young as 18 and as old at 80+. We have three bars and a night club which is why we do not allow children to be in the resort after 5pm. During the day children are welcome to enjoy our facilities with their family. If you are staying in one of our poolside cabana rooms you are more than welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks. We do not allow any outside alcohol. Our poolside rooms are located around 5 of our 6 pools. Reason being if glass breaks we have to drain our pools. Seeing as you have never visited Paradise, we invite you to come visit our resort. So you can experience it for yourself. If you have any questions that we can answer for you please feel free to contact us at social@paradiselakes.com.

Home away from home

5/ 5

I frequent Paradise Lakes Resort about 3x per year for a truly relaxing clothing optional experience. This last time was in April. They opened a brand new bar called waters edge. My food was delivered quickly and my blackened chicken sandwich was delicious! I tried their paradise punch bucket and played sand volleyball, both were great. They seem to be doing alot of upgrades to the resort, and it shows! The people and members are always welcoming. I am looking forward to my trip back for the 4th of July!
