We have a 100-year-old bungalow close to downtown in the Marmalade District in West Capitol Hill. We are 7 blocks from the city center, which is a quick bus ride or minimum Uber/Lyft charge. An Uber/Lyft to and from the airport is only about $10-15. Taxi max $25.
This is a basement room with its own en-suite bath, television with Roku, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and every Xfinity channel, and electric fireplace. You are also welcome to use the kitchen upstairs. We have a Keurig coffeemaker with assorted coffees, teas, and hot chocolate both in your room and upstairs. I generally have a bottle of wine open as well which you can share.
We have a private backyard with a large deck, a 10-person hot tub, outdoor shower, pond, grill, firepit, and lounges to sun on.
This is a quiet neighborhood next to a park and a half block to a bus route. There is a bar at the end of the street and a few restaurants nearby. Downtown is one mile.
This is a clothing-optional space inside and out. You are free to be as you are most comfortable, of course. I am a naturist, so I may be sunning on the deck or soaking in the tub au naturel.
I provide all of the amenities a hotel would, including shampoo, conditioner, soap, bottled water, bath- and hot tub-towels, and full-length terrycloth robes. I also have commonly forgotten items, such as razors, earplugs, aspirin, etc. in the medicine cabinet. You will find pillows on your bed ranging from extra soft to extra firm. We also have emulated the “Heavenly Bed” with a great mattress, memory foam topper, and IKEA mattress topper, covered with 1200 thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets. Think Princess and the Pea.
I put out cereals, oatmeal, breakfast bars, apple sauce, bread and jam for toast, and fruit for breakfast.
We are a gay male couple who welcomes people of all persuasions. A friendly dog and two cats live here as well.
