Peaceful, relaxing, rejuvenating.

5/ 5

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon (for a 5 nights stay) to a warm and friendly welcome from Jeff, the owner. Our accommodation (room #2) was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen was more than adequate for our 5 night stay and we were able to prepare an evening meal very easily. All the rooms are poolside with wonderful views. After a quick trip down to the local grocery store we disrobed and headed straight for the mineral pools. The smallest pool is the warmest and very relaxing. The main pool is cooler but still quite warm enough to laze around or even have a little swim. Almost all of the guests enjoy the facilities au naturel and seemed entirely comfortable with that. The ambience of the place is peaceful and restful with only quiet conversation. Complimentary drinks and nibbles are served at 3 p.m. at the small pool and you can join the other guests if you wish, whatever suits you. We did, and met some lovely people. We had planned to have a few days out exploring the local area but in fact only left the place for one day to visit Joshua Park. We were so happy and relaxed there; we didn’t want to leave it.

A real spa resort in Desert Hot Springs

5/ 5

Living Waters is a European style spa resort where the focus is on de-stressing and relaxation. The water in the pool and hot tub come straight from a hot spring and contains loads and loads of minerals. Jeff and Grace, the owners are very friendly and helpful and often up for a chat about nudism, the surroundings or both. A nice breakfast is included in the price. If you need some time away from the rat race in a very relaxed environment, Living Waters is where you want to be.
