Peaceful oasis.

5.0/ 5

Went out there for a day and found it to be welcoming and beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. By nice walking around the grounds, naked, and checking out the interesting homes. Pool was moderately busy and everyone was nice. . Definitely an oasis. Very peaceful.

DeAnza is an Oasis in the Deserst

4.0/ 5

DeAnza is situated one hour drive east of San Diego. It is surrounded by hills and desert with plenty of hiking trails and rocks to explore. If you know where to look some vertiginous hieroglyphics may still be seen. Their amenities include tennis courts, an indoor and outdoor pool, large patio area, clubhouse, and a small restaurant with a fixed menu. The local residents organize water volleyball in the indoor pool and are always willing to add players regardless of their skill or the number of players that are already playing. Younger players are very welcome as well. DeAnza is a great place to go and relax away from all electronic devices and the rest of the world..

Very nice scenery but in urgent need of some maintenance and more helpful staff

3.0/ 5

The surroundings of DeAnza Springs resort are absolutely magnificent! It’s literally the middle of the desert. The resort doesn’t have any kind of walls or fences and there are miles and miles of hiking trails in the area where you can hike naked. The resort itself is in urgent need of some maintenance, it seems like nothing has changed since the late seventies. Also the management could be better, there was an issue with our booking (the receptionist didn’t know that we were coming) and the staff was way less friendly and helpful than in other resorts. It’s certainly a place you have to experience once, but one time might be enough. Don’t forget to bring food and drinks, the bar and restaurant aren’t always open and the nearest supermarket & Mc Donalds are more than 30 miles away.
